Each WONÁ Concept gown comes with a care label containing instructions specific to the fabrics, construction, and decorative elements used in that particular design. Always follow these instructions first, as care requirements may vary from gown to gown.

Professional Cleaning

We recommend entrusting your gown only to a professional cleaner experienced in bridal and couture garments. Avoid washing, dry cleaning, steaming, ironing, or treating stains at home unless specifically permitted by the care label.

Gowns featuring delicate lace, embroidery, beading, appliqués, feathers, corsetry, or other handcrafted details require particularly careful handling.

Stain Removal

If your gown becomes stained, avoid rubbing the affected area or applying household stain removers, bleach, alcohol, or other cleaning products. Gently blot any excess moisture with a clean, light-colored cloth and consult a professional cleaner as soon as possible.

Steaming & Ironing

Handling Your Gown

We recommend applying makeup, perfume, hairspray, body lotion, and other beauty products before putting on your gown and allowing them to dry completely to minimize the risk of staining or damaging the fabric.

Travelling With Your Gown

When travelling, keep your gown protected in a garment bag. If you are flying, we recommend carrying your gown with you whenever possible rather than placing it in checked luggage. Contact your airline in advance to confirm its cabin baggage and garment policies.

Once you arrive at your destination, carefully remove the gown from its travel packaging and allow it to hang naturally. If steaming is required, always follow the instructions on the care label or have the gown professionally prepared.

After the Wedding

We recommend having your gown professionally cleaned as soon as reasonably possible after the wedding, even if there are no immediately visible stains. Certain marks and residues may become more difficult to remove over time.
