WONÁ CONCEPT GOWNS FOR BEST MOVIE WEDDINGS

Have you ever imagined yourself a bride at one of the famous movie weddings? We bet that the answer is YES! Lots of popular movies include wedding scenes and the dresses from those haven’t just become recognizable, but for sure iconic. We tried to remember the best movie wedding dresses since early 2000 and gather the selection of WONÁ Concept gowns which are similar to them!

The Twilight saga has become extremely popular among science-fiction lovers. Shy and tender Bella Swan fall in love with a vampire guy and their love ended up with a wedding. As fragile as Bella herself, the dress was designed by Carolina Herrera. It took the designer over six months to make the dress using crepe satin and French Chantilly lace with 152 buttons on the back and 17 on each sleeve. Bella’s dress was romantic and filled with a timeless sophistication, very similar to the character.

Grazia gown from WONA Concept Muse collection is supposed to be the most suitable for Bella Swan. Minimalistic enough floor-length style with a short train expresses the personality of heroine.

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie has captured the attention of millions of viewers especially when Anastasia Steel’s wedding look was featured in one of the trailers. The fans were kept on toes until they saw the beautiful wedding gown made by Monique Lhuillier. Ana appeared in a dreamy all-lace dress with crystal hair brooch and a delicate tulle veil. The dress revealed the illusion back, a trail of covered buttons and a relaxed fit-and-flare silhouette.

Romance collection by WONA Concept is famous for its tender semi-transparent lace gowns, where Anastasia Steele could have found her perfect wedding gown. All-lace Pillar gown with long embroidered sleeves and flare mermaid silhouette seems to have been created especially for this heroine!

Very special and extraordinary gown was worn by Sandra Bullock’s heroine Margaret in The Proposal movie. The story was about the arrogant and selfish lady-boss who unexpectedly fell in love with her employee after living some time with his relatives. The gown is also vintage, as it was the guy’s grandmother who gave her own silk 1930s-style gown to Margaret.

Laconic and fragile Clariss gown from WONÁ Concept Muse collection reflects perfectly the retro spirit of 1930-s like the one on Margaret. Closed front decollete, folded bodice and long sleeves are complemented with seductive high slit on the leg and open back neckline. The shining satin fabric emphasizes the restrain and sophisticated style of the bride.

The Hunger Games have also become the favorite saga of several generations. The main heroine, Katniss Everdeen, was a brave girl, who strived for her motherland and natives and lots of people became fans of her adventures in post-apocalypse world. In the second part of the saga, Katniss wore the stunning white wedding gown by a designer named Tex Saverio from Jakarta. The bodice was embellished with a Swarovski-crystal-clad organza corset under a metal cage and the skirt also had numerous layers of organza and chiffon ruffles that all together tied in the film’s Mockingjay concept.

We believe that the Constance wedding gown would have been the one to be worn by Karniss Everdeen, if she had been styled by WONÁ Concept! As extravagant as it can be, Constance gown from Aurora Couture collection is made of lush sparkling fabric with similar one-shoulder asymmetric neckline and high slit on one leg. The gown is majestic and feminine at the same time, showing the rebellious nature of the heroine.
