Una notte a Napoli
Can the black & white photos transmit the feelings? Looking at those incredible shots we can state that the answer is definitely “YES”! Elizabete and Roberts made their wedding day a real work of art and style at Villa, Riga Latvia. We are utterly pleased to share these beautiful photos with you accompanied with the touching love story of those two shared first-hand by the bride.
“We met 5 years ago. We have been inseparable ever since. Falling in love happened quickly and effortlessly. He was my person from the very first day we met.
That was such a Romantic November day, when Robert popped the question on the rooftop terrace where our love story started 4 years ago.
Our wedding planning journey was fielded with so many emotions and love. We wanted our wedding to be truthful and our guests to feel free while celebrating our wonderful relationship that we had nurtured for the 5 years.
Our ceremony was tailor made to what we believed made sense to our story. Surrounded by our favourite people our day was filled with copious amounts of fun and love. For our Tranditional Chatolic wedding ceremony this past July, we opted for a “traditional chic” and our wedding theme was “ Una notte a Napoli” (One night in Napoli).
From the entrance to the traditional Chatolic Church venue and bouquets of baby's breath and white lilys to the party reception, where the guests were waiting for us with cocktails and appetizers while listening to the jazz orchestra in the city garden In Fon Stricka Villa. The romance of it all was just what we needed.
We greeted our guests with an Italian summer style hats and fans and the sun pampered us!
Our inspiration behind Italian theme was to make sure everyone feels like in a big family in a most beautiful love story celebration!
I always knew I wanted an elegant but in the same time chic and a bit sexy lace wedding dress. Nothing like having that delicate lace fabric draped across your body… when I first saw WONA Jade gown I knew that this will be my dream dress. This wedding dress is everything I ever looked for in a gown I wanted to get married in. The Jade gown is made of a delicate lace, with an elegant silhouette - sophisticated and classic- just as I wanted.
I was so lucky to see how beautiful My Orchid bridal bouquet looked with the dress!
Inside the bouquet I carried Rue flower, which my mother put inside the bouquet before ceremony. Rue flower is a Lithuanian national flower and as my Mother is Lithuanian she told me that my granny would never allow me to walk down the aisle without rue flower inside my bridal bouquet. That was such a beautiful and emotional moment for me.
We loved every detail of the day. And we’re absolutely grateful for such a wonderful celebration of our love!”
