Mahsa & Peyman incredible wedding
It was such a treat to return to Chateau Saint Georges to photograph Mahsa and Peyman’s destination wedding! Their day was elegant and luxurious, made extra special by the fact that everyone had travelled from abroad to join in the celebrations and enjoy the French Riviera!
After a beautiful first look surrounded by palm trees, it was a gloriously warm, sunny evening, so we were able to have the ceremony outdoors in Chateau Saint George’sfamous temple. Mahsa & Peyman were married by Celia – The English Wedding Celebrant in France, who we have had the pleasure of working with before!
A second ceremony followed with some wonderful cultural traditions, including the grinding together of two Kalleh Ghand (decorated sugar cones) over the heads of the couple, and Mahsa & Peyman feeding eachother honey, signifying sweetness. It was so special to witness this part of the day, and to see how the family and friends were involved!
The wedding breakfast was held in what is quite possibly one of our favourite rooms in the world – the beautiful ‘Salon Napoleon’. The wood panelling, chandeliers, and windows of dreams make this a phenomenal space to photograph! The room was dressed perfectly with florals in blushes, whites and greens, and subtle accents of pink and gold on the tables. Very classically French. We also adored the couple’s own styling, which reminded us a little of ‘old Hollywood glamour’ with Mahsa’s gorgeous waves and Peyman’s white tuxedo!
In the evening a fabulous party followed, with dancing, a dress change from our lovely bride, and a sparkler exit. It was an unforgettable experience to be part of this day, and we were thrilled to see our work featured on WedLuxe recently!
