Lana Condor and Anthony De La Torre’s Romantic Malibu Wedding: A Love Story to Remember

Lana Condor, famed for her role in “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before”, and actor-musician Anthony De La Torre finally tied the knot in a stunning, intimate ceremony atop the Malibu mountains. Their journey, which began with a serendipitous meeting at an Emmys party in 2015, culminated in a wedding that beautifully honored their love story and the special memories Lana shared with her mother.

The two stars' love story began when they locked eyes across a crowded room at the Emmys, a moment that sparked an instant connection. After their first date, they quickly became inseparable, eventually getting engaged in 2021 on a cliffside in Mexico. Though Anthony’s elaborate proposal plans were disrupted when they both fell ill, he managed to surprise Lana with a beautiful candlelit setup on their balcony, marking a truly unforgettable moment for the couple.

Their wedding, held at the Serra Franciscan Retreat Center in Malibu, was imbued with deep personal meaning. Lana shared that the location held a special place in her heart: she had once attended a women’s spiritual retreat there with her mother. Following her mother’s recent passing, Lana wanted to honor her memory by marrying at a place that held such profound sentimental value.

The couple enlisted the talented Alex Moreau of XO Moreau to bring their vision to life. With Remi + Gold creating floral arrangements that encapsulated their fall-wedding aesthetic and East Rose Studio designing a timeless invitation suite, every detail was meticulously crafted to reflect their love story. The setting, decor, and stationery blended elegance with the couple’s signature warmth and charm, creating a dreamy ambiance that felt both youthful and refined.

Lana’s wardrobe also paid tribute to her mother. She chose a Vera Wang gown that she and her mother had fallen in love with during an earlier dress-shopping trip. This poignant memory added an extra layer of significance to her walk down the aisle.

The wedding ceremony itself was an emotional affair. Surrounded by loved ones, Lana and Anthony exchanged vows in a deeply heartfelt moment that the couple described as peaceful and profoundly present. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an evening filled with music by Professor D of Jordan Kahn Music Company, delicious catering by 24 Carrots, and two wedding cakes by The Butter End to accommodate dietary preferences.

The festivities continued the following day with a farewell brunch hosted at the couple’s L.A. home. For this relaxed yet meaningful event, Lana chose a stunning wedding dress Kailani by WONÁ Concept. “I loved the pearl details and ethereal cinched look of my welcome dress by WONÁ Concept,” she shared. “It was the perfect dress to welcome my family and friends to my home in. And it was!”

Adding a unique twist to their celebration, Lana and Anthony invited a tattoo artist to the brunch, allowing guests to get tattoos to commemorate the occasion. They themselves got matching tattoos of their wedding date, marking their first tattoos as a couple. Many guests, even those who didn’t originally plan on it, joined in on the fun, leaving the brunch with a permanent memento of the weekend’s joy.
